Between now and the release in October:
- Understand the key changes - we've shared a list of the key changes at the end of this article
- Update your Values Hero Statement and image - add your organization’s Mission Statement
- To make sure Spotlight and the standalone News & Events sections grab colleagues’ attention
- Start using 2:1 cover images in your news articles and events for best effect in Spotlight and News
- If your cover images contain text, you can now hide the text overlay on hero articles
- Have at least 3 articles set as Hero Articles and 3 more scheduled
- Have 3 upcoming events that will appear in the Events calendar - why not celebrate the new look release as an event!
- Start using 2:1 cover images in your news articles and events for best effect in Spotlight and News
- Build out Global Pages - popular examples include "About Us", "Our Leadership Team", "HR Hub" and "IT Hub"
- Tip: You can promote Space Pages to be a Global Page

- Create an album in the Gallery and upload images from a recent event or add brand assets for colleagues to use e.g. email signatures, LinkedIn banners
- Provide a default banner for people profiles to your Workvivo CX point of contact - colleagues can update their own banner after the release
- Create a Billboard for a comms campaign - why not create a billboard linking to an article announcing the Workvivo enhancements
- Communicate the new user experience to your colleagues - check out our suggestions here!
Don’t fret - If you don’t have time to set up Global Pages before the release to all your colleagues, let your CX Manager know and we can temporarily disable that feature for your Workvivo.

A new navigation bar for better discovery of content with Explore, Connect and Resources menus

Notification Settings can now be opened from the Notifications dropdown in the Top-navigation bar by clicking on the cog icon
- The engagement bar under posts and content is simpler and more focused on interactions - Copy Link, Add Bookmark, and Analytics have all been moved into the More Actions menu
Key Changes on Web for Admins
- The Admin menu has its own place on the navigation bar - where you can find Administration, Analytics and Awards
- Admins can now rearrange content widgets on the right-hand side of the Activity homepage
