This article outlines image size recommendations and other best practices that will help you when customizing Workvivo for your organisation.
Recommended Dimensions
- Post Updates/Shout-Outs - 1280x720px size images are ideal but all sizes are accommodated
- Videos - 1280x720px is optimal size/shape (.mp4 preferred, .mov also supported) Note: videos should not exceed 5GB
- Events - 500x250px for Featured Image
- Billboards - 600x300px or 2:1 ratio recommended image size
- Articles - 600x300px or 2:1 ratio recommended image size
- Global Pages - 600x300px or 2:1 ratio recommended image size
- App Launcher Widget - 21:10 ratio (reach out to your Customer Experience Manager to set this up)
- Custom Widgets - 295x150px
- Main Banner - 2000x474px (safe space for key text / imagery: 1290px x 135px centred)
- Personal Banner - 2000x474px
- Email Header Banner - 1500x300px
- Space Banner - 2000x474px
- Space Icon - 200x200px or 1:1 ratio
- Avatar - 200x200px or 1:1 ratio
- App Image - 200x200px or 1:1 ratio
- Useful Links Icon - 200x200px or 1:1 ratio
- Badge Icon - 200x200px or 1:1 ratio
- Podcast Image - 300x300px or 1:1 ratio
Things to Note
- Spotlight - Images from News Articles (including Hero Articles), Events and Global Pages will be automatically pulled into Spotlight, you do not need to upload separate images for this section
- Gallery - Thumbnails are displayed with a 10:7 ratio on web / 1:1 ratio on mobile
- 2:1 aspect ratio landscape images are recommended
- For images with text, we recommend centering the text to avoid any potential cut offs
