Seer on Workvivo helps measure and enhance employee engagement through targeted pulse surveys and in-depth analytics.
Organizations can measure engagement, key drivers of engagement and assess value alignment with targeted pulse surveys.

Roles / Permissions:
- Seer Insights Admin: Can create, manage & view insights
- Insights Manager: Can only view insights
- People Managers: Can view insights for employees reporting into them in the organization (including both direct reports and everyone below them in the organizational structure). A People Manager is any user who has users reporting into them, as defined by the user data passed to us during provisioning. This is not a role you assign within Workvivo.
- General Users: Can take the Seer Survey. (All users with the above roles/permissions can also take the survey).
Note: Seer surveys can only be set up on desktop but participant can take part on both web and mobile.

Survey Banner
Seer surveys will automatically be distributed to everyone in your target audience. The survey will be promoted at the top of the Workvivo activity feed and can be customized with a banner image and Title.
Email Invite: What You Need to Know
When a Seer Insights Survey is published in Workvivo, recipients automatically receive an email notification inviting them to participate. The email will greet each recipient by name (pulled from their Workvivo user profile) and include the name of your Seer Insights Survey in the notification line. Please see example below.
You have control over two key elements of this email:
- Survey Title (set in the Intro Section of the survey builder) — this is the name that appears in the email notification line.
- Intro Title and Intro Description (configured in Info & Settings) — these appear as an introductory quote block in the email body, giving recipients context before they begin.
All other elements of the email - including the subject line, the "Start" button, the app availability line, and the unsubscribe link - are fixed Workvivo system copy and cannot be customised on a per-survey basis. The branding (colour & logo) will reflect your organisations colours & logo.
All employees will be notified about the survey commencement via email and push notification to their devices (subject to their individual notification settings).
Seer Admins will also have the ability to send an email reminder while the survey is still live. To do this, a Seer Admin can:
- Click Manage Seer Insights
- Click View All Surveys
- Launch the '...' menu on the active survey.
- Click Send Reminder
