This guide outlines the process, and links to step-by-step articles, to help you set up pulse surveys, update upcoming survey rounds and review results after each round.

Device(s): Desktop, Mobile (to view and/or submit a Seer survey)
Roles / Permissions:
- System Admin: Can create, manage & view insights
- Insights Admin: Can create, manage & view insights
- Insights Manager: Can only view insights
- People Managers: Can view insights for employees reporting into them in the organization (including both direct reports and everyone below them in the organizational structure). A People Manager is any user who has users reporting into them, as defined by the user data passed to us during provisioning. This is not a role you assign within Workvivo.
- General Users: Can take the Seer Survey. (All users with the above roles/permissions can also take the survey).
Note: Seer surveys can only be set up on desktop but participants can take part on both web and mobile.

Beginning your Seer journey
Whether you’re setting up your first Survey or updating an upcoming survey round, follow steps 1-3 to ensure successful pre-launch set up:
Important: Once a Survey is launched / live, no changes can be made. However, you can modify upcoming pulse surveys.
Step 1: Manage info & settings will cover:
- Scheduling your survey

Step 2: Create your question bank will cover:
- Terminology
- Default drivers
- Value questions
- Custom Pillars / Drivers / Questions
- How to exclude a driver from a segment of your audience
Step 3: Manager Insight Settings will cover:
- Giving Managers Access to their team’s results
- Scheduling results access
- Confidentiality & Advanced Settings
- Manager Access Advanced Settings
Note: Once a survey round is launched, you cannot make edits; This is intended to protect the integrity of the survey.
As above, no changes can be made to a live survey. You can make changes to an upcoming / scheduled survey round and subsequent rounds.
