Terminology
-
Pillar:
- The broad topic that is being addressed (i.e. The main pillar for Seer insights is Engagement)
-
Driver:
- Acts as a group of questions that have similar themes
- The sub-categories, consisting of a group of questions, underlying the pillar (i.e. These are the drivers of the pillar)
- A max of 20 custom drivers can be in a survey (this excludes our 12 engagement drivers and value questions, outlined in more depth below).
-
Question:
- Each driver has a group of associated questions.
Only one question from each driver is selected per Survey round, for all members, on a round robin basis.
To make a question eligible for upcoming round selection, ensure it is toggled on.
Responses are answered on a 0-10 scale with an additional, optional, “add comment” open ended question.
Please note you can have a maximum of 15 Questions per Custom driver but only 1 is asked per survey round.
Question Bank Section 1: Default Drivers
The default drivers for Seer insights is based on the Workvivo 12 factor engagement model, which is contributed to across the following drivers:
- Engagement
- Wellbeing
- My Job
- Productivity
- Culture and Values
- Empowerment
- Career Development
- Compensation and Benefits
- Senior Leadership
- Rewards and Recognition
- Communication
- Teamwork and Collaboration
- My Manager
As such, it is recommended you leverage the default drivers and questions, seeking an engagement orientated outcome, to maximise the analytics produced by Seer.
Question Bank: Values
Clear values help your employees understand what your company stands for and help guide their work and provide a sense of security.
We can help you assess how much your values actually align to a day in the life of your employees with targeted Value questions.
You can align drivers with your Organisation’s values:
“Please rate the extent to which the following Value is reflected in your day-to-day experience working for <your company> ”.
These can be toggled on or off for upcoming Survey rounds.
Question Bank: Custom Pillar
A custom pillar can be enabled by toggling on “Enable Custom Pillar” within the custom pillar tab of your question bank.
A Custom Pillar represents a broad topic, such as Engagement. Your Custom Pillar will have it's own tab within your Seer Insights.
Custom Drivers are sub-topics that live beneath your Custom Pillar. You can have a maximum of 20 custom drivers.
Each Driver has a set of questions. Responses generate a Driver score to track performance and identify improvement areas. You can have a maximum of 15 Questions per Drivers.
You can rename your “Custom Pillar” tab if you wish; Click on the menu inline with “Enable Custom Pillar”, Click “Edit Pillar” to rename:
You must add a Driver(s) to address your desired custom pillar.
Each custom driver requires:
- Driver Name
- Driver Description
- Driver Icon
- Driver Image for Survey
We have created a list of custom question ideas for sample purposes.
Toggling questions off and Excluding questions:
To remove a question from the upcoming round selection pool (within your driver), please toggle the question off.
To exclude a question from a specific segment click “Exclude”, from here you can filter to the specific audience you wish to exclude this question/driver from.
