Notes for Rolling Out Workvivo on Microsoft Teams:
- Make Workvivo visible to all users: Your Microsoft Teams admin can update the Global (Org-wide default) app setup policy to include Workvivo. This will pin Workvivo to the Teams sidebar for all users.
- User Name/ Password Users: Can just login by adding user/pass in the login screen. No set up required on the policies
- Session Management:This will respect the session management that has been configured on Web. The default is 24 hours
-
SSO access control: While users will see the app, they won’t be able to access it until they’re added to the correct security group for Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Propagation delay: Once the policy is updated, it can take up to 24 hours for changes to appear for all users.
- First login behaviour: On first use via the Teams client, users will still be prompted to enter their email address, even with SSO enabled. This is expected and only required the first time.
- Need help updating the policy? Microsoft provides a detailed guide on how to manage app setup policies in Microsoft Teams. It includes how to pin apps, create custom policies, and roll out apps org-wide.
