When a user's account is created within Workvivo, their photo will default to their initials as shown below.
Having a user's profile photo is a great way to add a nice personal touch for users when they log into their Workvivo for the first time.
There are a couple of different ways that you can bulk upload photos for your users on Workvivo.
Bulk Upload:
Provide Workvivo with a zipped folder of images with the naming convention of either firstname.lastname.png/jpg or externalID.png/jpg. Please note, we do recommend using the user's external ID as it is the most unique.
The externalID would be the unique ID you are sending us in a Provisioning File or Unique ID from SCIM Provisioning. If you are not sure what this value is ask your Workvivo contact. Workvivo can check the current ExternalID and send examples.
PhotoAPI:
You can leverage Workvivo's photo API by following the steps within our Developer Page linked here
Photo URL:
For organizations provisioning with user files only.
If the user's photo can be pulled from a public URL, you can add it to your employee file with the column titled "PhotoURL".
