After you have launched your Workvivo, you may find that you need to update your authentication mode. This article will provide some guidance on updating and changing your authentication mode in your Workvivo.
User Role: IT Administrator
Changing from Password to SSO:
- In Admin Settings navigate to 'Provisioning' and then 'Authentication and System Settings'.
- Set 'Authentication Mode' to 'Single Tenant SSO Only' or 'Multi Tenant SSO or Password'.
3. Add in your SAML tenant details from your SSO provider. Please see steps on how to add in your SSO details per your provider here.
This will then set everyone in your Workvivo tenant to SSO authentication.
Changing From Password or SSO to Mixed Authentication - Both SSO and password:
- In Admin Settings navigate to 'Provisioning' and then 'Authentication and System Settings'.
- Set 'Authentication Mode' to 'Single Tenant SSO or Password'.
3. Add in your SSO details. Please see steps on how to add in your SSO details per your provider here.
4. Update your user provisioning file to include an "AuthMode" column with a user noted as either 'sso' or 'password'. If you will be updating your provisioning method please follow the steps here or reach out to your Workvivo contact.
After your updated user file runs in the user's authorization mode will be updated.
