Catch Me Up is an AI-powered, story-style digest that helps employees quickly see what they've missed since their last visit to Workvivo. Instead of scrolling through the activity feed searching for relevant updates, employees get a personalized summary of the most important content delivered in a familiar, swipeable stories format right on the For You feed.
Every Catch Me Up digest is unique to the person viewing it. The feature combines Smart Feed relevance signals, admin-configured content categories, and each user's position in the org chart to surface the updates that matter most. Whether it's a company-wide announcement, a leadership update, or an upcoming event, Catch Me Up ensures employees stay informed without the effort of hunting for information themselves.
For admins, Catch Me Up offers granular control over the types of content that appear in digests, the ability to highlight key accounts, and a dedicated analytics dashboard to track adoption and engagement. For employees, it turns catching up into a quick, focused experience that respects their time and keeps them connected to what's happening across the organization.

Roles / Permissions:
- Admin - Full access to enable, configure, and manage Catch Me Up settings and analytics via the Admin Hub.
- AI Admin & AI Catch Me Up user - Can enable and configure Catch Me Up settings.
- General users - Can view Catch Me Up digests on the For You feed once the feature is enabled at the organization level.
Availability: Catch Me Up is included in HQ as a free-tier feature. Please reach out to your Workvivo point-of-contact to enable it for your organization.
Enable Catch Me Up
- Navigate to the Admin Hub.
- Go to AI Settings.
- Locate the Catch Me Up toggle and switch it to On.
Once enabled, Catch Me Up will appear on the For You feed for all users with the appropriate role.
Configure Content Categories
- In the Admin Hub, go to AI Settings.
- Select the Catch Me Up settings tab.
- You will see toggles for each of the seven content categories: Big News, Leadership Updates, For You, Trending, Your Activity, Upcoming Events, and Birthday/Anniversary.
- Toggle each category on or off based on your organization's communication priorities.

How Catch Me Up Works
Viewing Your Digest
- Visit Workvivo on Web or Mobile.
- On the For You feed, you will see the Catch Me Up entry point.
- Tap or click to open your personalized digest.
Navigating Stories
- Swipe or tap through the story cards to browse your digest.
- Each card represents a piece of content from one of the enabled categories.
- To view the full content behind any story card, tap the item. You'll be taken to the source content and returned to the story flow when you're done.
Lookback Window and Refresh Behavior
When you open Catch Me Up, the content you see depends on when your last digest was generated:

| First time using Catch Me Up | A digest is generated covering the last 7 days. The intro screen is skipped. |
| Last digest was generated more than 3 days ago | A new digest is generated covering the time since your last digest, up to the organization's configured lookback period (default: 30 days). The intro screen is skipped. |
| Last digest was generated within 3 days (no cached response) | The intro screen appears, allowing you to choose a lookback period: since last catch-up, 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days. |
| A cached response exists | Your most recent digest opens directly, skipping the intro screen. |
Note: You can tap Restart at any time to return to the intro screen and choose a different lookback period. The Restart option is not available while a digest is actively being generated.
Catch Me Up Analytics
Catch Me Up includes a dedicated analytics dashboard so admins can monitor adoption and engagement across the organization.
Accessing Analytics
- In the Admin Hub, navigate to the Catch Me Up section.
- Select the Overview tab.
Available Metrics
- Unique people reached - The number of individual users who have viewed a Catch Me Up digest.
- Digests generated - The total number of Catch Me Up digests created.
- Digests completed - The number of digests that users swiped through to completion.
- Completion rate - The percentage of generated digests that were completed.
Activity Timeline
A timeline chart displays generation and completion activity over your selected date range, making it easy to spot trends and measure the impact of internal communications campaigns.
Content Type Breakdown
The analytics dashboard also shows which content categories are most frequently included in digests and which individual pieces of content are rendered most often, helping you understand what resonates with your organization.
Filtering Analytics
You can filter analytics by:
- Date range - Select a specific time period to analyze.
- Segment - Filter by audience segment to understand how different groups are engaging with Catch Me Up.
