Surveys are a great way to take a temperature check of your organization and to gather feedback. Surveys empower your employees by amplifying their voice, allowing you to truly understand how they feel, gather vital feedback and uncover valuable insights. Ultimately empowering you to make more informed and impactful decisions about your people.
It's easy to create and release a Survey to all staff or to particular employee segments such as teams or spaces. Users can submit their responses on web or mobile.

Roles / Permissions:
- Survey Admin: Can create, manage and view analytics on all surveys across the organization.
- System Admin: Can create, manage and view analytics on all surveys across the organization.
- Survey Manager: Can only manage and view analytics on surveys they have created themselves.
Note: Surveys can only be set up on desktop.
Accessing Surveys
Navigate to ‘Surveys’ from the Admin menu in your top navigation bar to open your Survey Management Dashboard.
Survey Management Dashboard
From the top of your Survey Management Dashboard you can easily search for a specific survey, filter by survey status, or use the ‘Show All Surveys’ toggle. The ‘Show All Surveys’ toggle is only visible to Survey Admins and System Admins - turn it on to view all surveys across the entire organization, turn it off to only see surveys you have created yourself.
Your Survey Management Dashboard is broken into three key sections;
- Create - This section is all about building new surveys. Choose ‘blank canvas’ if you would like to start from scratch, or ‘copy an existing survey’ to save time.
- Active & Completed - This carousel gives you a window into active and completed surveys. From here you can see each survey’s cover image, title, response rate and status at a glance. You can also click on any one of these surveys to access its associated real-time analytics.
- All Surveys - This section provides an overview of all surveys, whether they are in a draft, scheduled, active, or completed state. You can easily swap between a grid or list view and consume key survey details like title, response rate, status, audience, start date and end date.
Survey Quick Actions
Survey quick action live behind the three dots located next to each survey in the management dashboard. See below for a breakdown of available quick actions for each survey state.
Draft Surveys:
- For draft surveys you have the option to edit, copy, delete and copy the survey link. Survey participants can access the survey via this link once it goes live.
Scheduled Surveys:
- For scheduled surveys you have the option to edit, copy, delete and copy the survey link. Survey participants can access the survey via this link once it goes live. You can also start the survey now, launching it for everyone in your chosen audience.
Active Surveys:
- For active surveys you have the option to edit, copy, delete and copy the survey link. Survey participants can access and take the survey via this link. You can also end the survey and send a reminder notification to everyone who has not completed the survey yet.
- The sync audience option allows you to add new users to your survey audience who may have joined your target employee segments since the survey went live. This is particularly useful when new users have been added to the platform or for users who may move teams while the survey is live.
Note: When a survey is live you can only edit certain segments of the survey such as the Survey Title & the Answer Options
Completed Surveys:
- For completed surveys you have the option to copy, delete and copy the survey link.
