Workvivo are continuing to expand their API and integration capabilities to make it easier for customers and developers to connect, automate, and extend the Workvivo experience.
Below are three upcoming enhancements that will soon be available - designed to improve flexibility, transparency, and efficiency when working with our platform.
What is changing?
1. Badges API Enhancements (Target GA date - June 11)
Soon, developers will be able to retrieve a list of user IDs associated with a specific badge through the Badges API.
This improvement will make it easier to integrate recognition data into external systems, analytics dashboards, or HR tools - helping companies better understand and celebrate employee engagement.
What this means for you:
- Simplified data retrieval for badge assignments
- Easier integration with third-party reporting or recognition systems
- Improved visibility into employee achievements
2. API Enhancement for Events, Updates, and Kudos (Target GA date - June 16)
A new enhancement will add support for an “all” query parameter in the Updates, Kudos, and Events APIs.
This allows developers to retrieve all published space and team content in a single call - simplifying data collection and improving performance for integrations that rely on comprehensive content visibility.

- Retrieve all published content across spaces and teams in one request
- Reduce the number of API calls needed for reporting or synchronization
- Improve efficiency for large-scale integrations and analytics
3. Article Archive Date via API (Target GA date - June 24)
We’re extending the existing Articles API to include the ability to set an archive date when creating or updating an article.
This enhancement gives developers and content managers more control over content lifecycle management directly through API calls.
