Roles / Permissions: Admins can enable / disable, All users can access Offline Mode.
What can be accessed offline?
From their Workvivo environment, users can download and access:
- Pages
- Articles
- Folders
- Documents
- Embedded images in Pages, Articles, or Folders
⚠️ Note: Can only download accessible content available to you and it must be downloaded in advance.
Key Use Cases
- Frontline and Field Teams: Employees in remote or low-bandwidth environments - such as manufacturing sites, warehouses, retail stores, or field operations - can access essential documents like safety procedures, checklists, and training materials offline.
- Travel and Mobility: For teams frequently on the move, such as airline crews or logistics staff, Offline Mode ensures uninterrupted access to company updates, policies, and reference materials during flights or in transit.
- Business Continuity: In critical situations where connectivity is lost, Offline Mode guarantees that employees can still retrieve the information they need to perform their roles safely and effectively.
How It Works
Offline Indicator
When you're offline, a banner will appear at the bottom of the screen to indicate that you're currently without an internet connection. You can still access all your downloaded content during this time.

Accessing Offline Content
- Open the mobile app.
- Go to Settings → My Downloads.
- View and open your saved content.

Managing Downloads
To remove downloaded content:
- Go to My Downloads
- Long-press an item
- Select 'Remove from Downloads'
Note: Content is not downloaded to your device, it is only made available to view offline in the Workvivo app. Removing downloads helps free up space on your device.
Administrator Controls
If you're an Admin, you can control Offline Mode availability for your organisation:
- Go to Admin Hub > Platform > General Settings > Features
- Toggle Enable Offline Mode On or Off
