Workvivo's AI enhancements for Livestreaming introduce two powerful capabilities that together address one of the biggest challenges with live content: what happens after the stream ends.
AI Livestream Summary removes the barrier for employees who couldn't tune in live, enabling them to quickly catch up on what they missed without watching the full recording. By supporting "In Case You Missed It" recaps, it ensures that important broadcasts continue to deliver value well beyond the original air time.
AI Smart Chapters takes long-form recordings and makes them instantly navigable, allowing viewers to jump directly to the sections most relevant to them. This drives replay engagement, reduces drop-off, and enables deep linking to specific chapters - making it easy to share key moments across the organisation.
Together, these features ensure that livestreaming on Workvivo isn't just a one-time event - it's a lasting, searchable, and shareable content resource for every employee.
Note: Workvivo AI must be enabled to use AI on Livestreams. Feel free to read more in our dedicated Workvivo AI Overview article.

AI-generated summary
Once the recording has been processed, an AI-generated summary will automatically appear on the livestream recording page on both web and mobile. This summary includes a headline overview and a set of key points drawn from the stream content.
Web: Mobile:
Note: that the summary is only available for recorded livestreams and depends on the quality of the audio/transcript - if the audio was poor or transcription failed, no summary will be generated.
AI Smart Chapters
After a livestream ends, AI-generated chapters are automatically created to segment the recording into navigable sections. Viewers can browse chapters during playback to jump directly to topics of interest, improving content discoverability and reducing time spent searching through long recordings.
Chapters are editable by the host/owner on web, auto-translated into multiple languages. To edit Users must select 'manage video' from the three dots on the right hand-side.
