The Post Draft feature allows users on desktop and mobile to save posts without publishing, enabling later edits and controlled publishing. Users must have content to save a draft and can set the audience, add attachments, shoutouts, polls, and more. Drafts are accessible via the activity feed and can be edited or deleted anytime. Publishing depends on the audience and may require approval if posted in spaces with content approval enabled.
The Post Draft feature lets you to save a post without publishing it. You can return later, edit, and publish when ready. This gives you more control and flexibility over the content.

Create a Draft
To create a draft follow these steps:
- Start by writing your content. You need to have some content in the body to save a draft.
- You can set the audience of the final post
- Note: if your organization has enabled Space Content Approval, general users can only select one space as the audience.
- You can also add attachments, like images or documents, just as you would for a regular post.
- Click … menu and select Save as Draft option to save your post as draft
Please note that once a draft is created, you must click on Save as Draft for the post to be saved; otherwise changes will be lost.
On mobile, select the ... menu next to the Post button, and then select the Save as Draft option to save your content:

As the author of the post, you can view all of your draft posts from the activity feed:
Edit a Draft Post
While a post is still in the Draft mode, you can edit and update the following parts of the content:
- Attachments: Add or remove files, images, or other media.
- Audience: Change the audience for the draft post.
- Shoutouts: Add or remove shoutouts.
- Values: Add or remove values linked to the draft.
- Polls: Add or remove polls.
- Post Acknowledgment: Enable or disable the acknowledgment option.
- Campaigns: Add or remove the draft from specific campaigns.
- Classification: Add or remove classification tags.
- Manual Translation: Add or update manual translations.
All changes can be saved while the content remains in draft mode.
To edit a draft, open your draft menu and from the ... select Edit:
Publish a Draft
You can publish a saved draft at any given moment:
- If the audience is set to any of the following, the draft can be published directly:
- Everyone
- Non-approval Spaces
- Teams
- Followers
- If the audience includes a Space with the Space Post Approval feature enabled (talk to your WV contact person for more info):
- The draft will first be submitted for approval before it can be published.
- Drafts submitted for approval will follow the same process and logic as a post that's submitted for a Space with space approval enabled
To publish a draft post, access to your draft menu and select the draft you want to publish:
Click on the draft or use the Edit option from the ... menu and click on Post to publish the draft directly:
