Bring your organisation's LinkedIn and YouTube content directly into your Custom Landing Pages. Employees can see your latest LinkedIn post and watch YouTube videos, playlists, or channel content, all without leaving Workvivo.
The LinkedIn Widget displays your organisation's most recent LinkedIn post, including the company name, logo, post date, post text, any included image, and a link to view the full post on LinkedIn.
The YouTube Widget lets you embed a single video, a playlist, or a full channel view, bringing town halls, product demos, training content, and brand media straight into the employee experience.
Both widgets are currently available on the web version of Workvivo only.

LinkedIn Widget
Using the LinkedIn Widget
Admins can add the LinkedIn Widget to a Custom Landing Page to display the organisation's most recent LinkedIn post. Once connected, the widget refreshes automatically so employees always see the latest post without leaving Workvivo.
To add the LinkedIn Widget:
- Open the Integrations Marketplace in the Workvivo Admin Hub.
- From here, navigate to the LinkedIn widget.
- Enter your LinkedIn Company ID when requested.
-
When routed, authorise the connection on the LinkedIn end.
- Navigate to your desired Custom Landing Page and enter Edit Mode.
- Select the Plus (+) icon on the top right labelled, Add Widget.
- From here, add your newly connected LinkedIn widget.
-
Select the target audience and an optional widget title.
-
Save and publish the page. The widget will now show your company's LinkedIn post feed.
Note: You must be an Admin on your organisation's LinkedIn account to authorise the connection.
Editing the LinkedIn Widget
Once the LinkedIn Widget is live, Admins can make changes at any time to keep it working smoothly or to fit a new page layout. Reconnecting the LinkedIn account, moving the widget to a different spot on the page, or updating who sees it can all be done without rebuilding the widget from scratch.
To edit the LinkedIn Widget:
- Go to Admin Hub > Integrations Marketplace > LinkedIn to reconnect or manage the LinkedIn connection.
- Open the relevant Custom Landing Page to reposition the widget or update its target audience.
- Save and publish the page to apply your changes.
Note: If the LinkedIn connection is ever disconnected, the widget will stop showing content until it's reauthorised in Admin Hub > Integrations Marketplace.
YouTube Widget
Using the YouTube Widget
Admins can add the YouTube Widget to a Custom Landing Page to bring videos, playlists, or an entire channel straight into the employee experience. Once added, employees can watch the content without ever leaving Workvivo.
The widget supports three content types, so you can choose whichever best suits what you want to share:
-
Video: Embed a single YouTube video, either played directly within Workvivo or as a thumbnail that links out to YouTube. This works well for one-off content like a town hall recording or a product announcement.
-
Playlist: Display a full playlist, showing the playlist title, date, and video count, with a scrollable video list and in-Workvivo playback. For longer playlists, employees can use load-more to keep browsing. Playlists are a great way to structure onboarding or training content, letting employees browse and play videos without ever leaving the page.
Note: Playlists must be configured for embedded playback on YouTube in order to work within the widget.
-
Channel: Showcase your organisation's full YouTube channel, displaying the channel name, profile image, and banner image, with a link to open the channel on YouTube. This gives employees a live window into all of your public video content in one place.
Note: The YouTube content you add must be set to public before it's added to the widget. Private or restricted videos, playlists, or channels will not display.
To add the YouTube Widget:
- Navigate to your desired Custom Landing Page and enter Edit Mode.
- Select the Plus (+) icon on the top right labelled Add Widget.
- From here, add the YouTube widget.
- Select the content type: video, playlist, or channel.
- Paste the YouTube URL or enter its ID.
- Choose the display option such as embedded playback or a thumbnail link that opens on YouTube.
- Add a custom widget name.
-
Select the target audience.
- Save and publish the page.
Note: The content type you select must match the URL you provide, for example, a playlist URL for a playlist widget, so double-check this before publishing.
Editing the YouTube Widget
Swap out the video, playlist, or channel link, change the display option, rename the widget, or update the audience at any time.
To edit the YouTube Widget:
- Hover over the widget.
-
Select the Edit icon.
- Update the link or name as desired.
