Quickly discover and navigate new space content with the Space Navigator banner on mobile.
With the Space Navigator, mobile users can easily scroll through and view spaces ordered by recent activity. A dot icon will appear on the space icon when new unread content is available meaning the user will never miss out on updates from their favourite spaces.
For web users, the “My Spaces” widget in the left-hand panel now orders by recent activity and displays a dot beside each space name to indicate unread content.

Why does it matter?
As the volume of content grows on the activity feed it can be easy to miss out on interesting and important space content.
Without a way to signal to the user that there is new content waiting for them in a space and giving them an easy way to access it, there is a chance that it could be missed.
By helping the user navigate to the space rather than the activity feed, the user is more likely to engage with and benefit from the space.
Space Navigator on Web / Mobile
Web
- Features a collapsible menu containing space groupings. By default, this menu is open. All three sections can be opened and closed. A notification indicator is displayed if a space within a section has had a recent update.
- Pinned Spaces
- This section features spaces that have been pinned by your organisation. Admins and Space Managers can add and reorder these spaces by clicking the Ellipsis icon and then clicking Edit.
- This section can be enabled and disabled from the Space Content Promotion section of the Admin area. If a preferred audience is set for the space, it will only display to users in that audience. Up to 20 spaces can be displayed.
- Starred Spaces
- These section features spaces that users have starred. Users can add and reorder these spaces by clicking the Ellipsis icon and then clicking Edit.
- This section can be enabled and disabled from the Admin area. Up to 20 spaces can be displayed.
- My Spaces
- This section features spaces that the user has joined. It is dynamically ordered based on activity in the space, and cannot be reordered manually.
Mobile
You can now access your spaces by clicking on your profile picture in the top left hand corner or by clicking into the More section in the Bottom Menu. You can also open the side menu by sliding from left to right on the app
Your Pinned Spaces and Starred Spaces are also now available through the mobile App, giving you easy access to the Spaces that matter most to you. You can also easily update your Starred Spaces through the App by clicking the Star icon on each space.
