Enabling browser notifications for Workvivo Chat is a simple and powerful way for employees to stay connected and responsive throughout the day. Notifications ensure you never miss an important message, even if you’re working in another tab or application, helping you stay in the loop with your team in real time. They make it easy to keep up with conversations without constantly checking the chat, boosting productivity and ensuring timely communication when it matters most.
You will be prompted to allow Workvivo access to send you notifications. Select "Manage Permissions". You will be asked to Allow or Block
You will then be asked again by the browser. Select "Allow" here
Press "Allow" one more in the Workvivo modal to confirm.
Once permissions have been allowed, it will change your notifications settings.
We also recommend to follow the next few steps to make sure all is enabled correctly.
Steps to Enable:
Firstly, ensure your browser is allowed to display notifications by the operating system.
You can test to ensure that this works by visiting a site like this;
https://web-push-book.gauntface.com/demos/notification-examples/
The user's preferences for suppressing push notifications will be respected so ensure these are correct.
