Copy and paste
It's important to be cautious when copying and pasting content from external sources (such as Microsoft or google).
When you copy and paste, there's a chance you might be copying across hidden HTML tags that can introduce bugs or formatting problems.
We always recommend "pasting as plain text" as this will eliminate potential issues while maintaining the line-breaks within your text. It should then just take a couple of moments to use our builder to re-introduce the formatting you want. We appreciate this adds some extra time to your building experience however this is a necessary trade-off to ensure your newsletter displays consistently across all email clients.
We've recently introduced some contextual help that will aid you in making this decision. Please note, should you choose to retain formatting it will be easier to see if your paste has introduced any formatting issues. We always recommend you use the "test newsletter" function and check your newsletter across multiple email clients to ensure the format is appearing as you expect.
Getting the most from Drag & Drop
Within our builder we offer the ability to drag and drop in a pre-populated view of articles, events and updates.
When you use the prepopulated drag and drop, we take the key elements from each and display them appropriately within the columnar layout you've selected.
Please note, you may need to test what layout fits the presentation of each component best.
With articles, the "full width" columnar view may not suit some images. You may find it works better on a 2 columnar lay-out. Another alternative is to build the view from scratch using the "Content" components. From here, you can input an image that fits the available space.
