To enhance account security, Workvivo supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using an authenticator app. In addition to your password, you use an authenticator app on your phone or device to generate a time-based, one-time code (usually 6 digits) each time you log in.

Availability: MFA is not enabled by default. Please contact your Workvivo representative to activate Multi-Factor Authentication for your organization.
Note: Once enabled, all users with Workvivo-managed passwords will be required to use MFA at their next login. This setting does not apply to SAML/SSO users.
How it works
After entering their email and password on the Workvivo login screen, users are prompted to enter a 6-digit code from their authenticator app on their mobile device.

Workvivo supports any authenticator app, with the most commonly used across our customer base being Google Authenticator, Duo, Microsoft Authenticator, and Okta Verify.
