Duo is a mobile application that provides multi-factor authentication (MFA) — an extra layer of security used to verify your identity when signing into accounts or systems. This is used to set up multi-factor authentication on the Workvivo app.
How to setup MFA on web
Open a web browser and navigate to your organisation’s Workvivo URL.
Log in using your email address and password. Click Login, then select Get Started.
Have Duo mobile ready to open on your mobile device
If its your first time using Duo you will need to choose the option to 'Use a QR code'
If you already use Duo for other applications you can choose the 'Add +' option and 'Use QR code'

Once you have scanned the QR and configured the account name the app will generate a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.
Enter the 6-digit code on the Workvivo login screen to complete the setup and finish signing in.
How to setup MFA on mobile
Open the Workvivo mobile app and tap Get Started.
Enter your email address or organisation name click Next, then select Get Started.
Open the Duo Authenticator app on your mobile device.
In the Workvivo app, copy the setup key provided for MFA
In the Duo app select "Use Activation code" and "Add Other Account"
Paste in your activation code and give your account a name
Finally, copy the MFA generated passcode from Duo and return to Workvivo to input this code.
