If you wish to prompt your users to use Google Authenticator we can enable a link to Google Authenticator on the MFA setup screens
Make sure users have Google Authenticator installed and ready on their mobile device;
How to setup MFA on web
Open a web browser and navigate to your organisation’s Workvivo URL.
Log in using your email address and password. Click Login, then select Get Started.
Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.
Tap the plus (+) icon in the bottom-right corner of the app.
Scan the QR code to setup your account on your authenticator app
Once added, Google Authenticator will generate a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.
Enter the 6-digit code on the Workvivo login screen to complete the setup and finish signing in.
How to setup MFA on mobile
Open the Workvivo mobile app and tap Get Started.
Enter your email address or organisation name click Next, then select Get Started.
Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.
In the Workvivo app, copy the setup key provided for MFA.
In Google Authenticator, tap the plus (+) icon in the bottom-right corner.
Select Enter a setup key.
Enter an account name (for example, Workvivo).
Paste the setup key you copied from the Workvivo app.
Ensure the key type is set to Time-based.
After adding the account, return to the Workvivo app.
When prompted, enter the 6-digit code displayed in Google Authenticator for this account to complete the setup.
Note:
A Workvivo Admin can reset MFA for an employee if they have lost their phone or switched devices and need to set up MFA again.
The employee will receive a confirmation email from Workvivo once MFA has been successfully configured for their account.
