To add an extra layer of security, we released biometric/device passcode authentication support to the Workvivo Mobile App.
The Lock Types supported (where available on the device) are:
- Biometrics - fingerprint
- Biometrics - facial recognition
How it works
After a user logs into the app via SSO / Password, they are also asked to authenticate with the lock type set up on their device.
If a user has both face ID and password enabled on their device they can log in using either of these.
Where facial recognition is not possible the user can log in using the passcode saved to their device.
Once logged in, they will be asked to authenticate with this method every time they open the app.
*If you are not being asked to authenticate please check the app is closed down completely and is no longer running in the background
Please note: those on very old phones that do not have the capability to set a Pattern / PIN would not be able to access the app if you have this feature enabled.
