We have a Custom Widgets feature which allows the insertion of Javascript code in to our web platform. This is similar to how you would add third-party plugins such as Google Analytics, or an Intercom/Zendesk chat bubble to a website.
Why not surface your Support Help Desk to allow colleagues to easily raise tickets or search help articles?
Setting up your custom widget
If you would like to provide us with Javascript code, one of our engineers will vet it and once approved, they will add the code to your Workvivo instance. This JS snippet should be written by an experienced web developer.
Examples include help desk chatbots, employee wellbeing check-ins, calendar plug-ins, share price tickers and many more.
Below is an example of a Support Desk widget:
Clicking on the widget would open an interface like this on web:
Note: Please bear in mind that Workvivo cannot monitor or support the working of this code so the widget may need to be removed if there are any unexpected effects or if the custom widget is incompatible with elements of an evolving platform.
This feature is intended for use cases such as chatbots, rather than changing the look or behaviour of Workvivo as that is not in scope of the solution.
