Within Workvivo's Localization settings, you can set up Do Not Disturb Hours for your organization.
By setting up Do Not Disturb Hours, you will mute notifications from the Workvivo platform within the specified timeframe. This means that Email notifications will not be sent and mobile push notifications will not appear during the Do Not Disturb time period.
This does not apply to in-app notifications or when 'Send Push' is used on a post. If the 'Send Push' capability is used, notifications will be generated during Do Not Disturb Hours as this feature supports crisis comms.
Note:
The day / time selected is based on the Organisation's default timezone. It will not adjust based on a user's timezone and so this feature works best for an organization where all employees are operating within the same timezone.
To update your organization's Do Not Disturb Hours, go to the Admin > Tools > Localization > Do not Disturb.
Note: The Do not disturb settings work independently:
Example:
Mute From / Mute Until (time range):
- Sets the same quiet hours every day (e.g., 3pm–6pm).
- Applies daily unless a full-day mute is set.
Mute All Day (specific days)
- Mutes selected days for the full 24 hours (e.g., Saturday, Sunday).
Example
- Mute From: 3pm
- Mute Until: 6pm
- Mute All Day: Saturday, Sunday
Result:
- Monday–Friday: muted 3pm–6pm only
- Saturday–Sunday: muted all day
Note:
Do Not Disturb feature is bypassed by:
- Force Push notifications
- Joining (either accepting invite or being enrolled into) a space where Welcome Emails are turned on
- Providing and revoking any role for users
- Newsletters
