In Workvivo, you can set up a delegate so that a colleague can switch to your profile if needed and post on your behalf on desktop.

Setting up a Delegate
In Workvivo, you can set up a delegate so that a colleague can switch to your profile if needed and post on your behalf on desktop and mobile.
Note: When they switch to your profile, they will inherit your role
To add a delegate:
- Sign in with your Workvivo credentials
- Go to User Menu and click on your avatar
- Click "Edit Profile"
- Click "Delegated Users"
- Click "Add Delegate"
- Select a colleague from the drop-down list
- Click "Add"
- They are now set up as your delegate
How do I post on behalf of a Colleague / Switch to another account on Desktop?
To post on behalf of someone else, they must set you up as their delegate first. Once you're set up, to access their account on desktop, you can:
- Sign in with your Workvivo credentials
- Go to User Menu and click on your avatar
- Click "Switch Account"
- Choose the Delegate / Service Account you want to switch to
In this example, Kory has added Victoria and Sam as delegates. For the example he will delegate into Sam's account.
How do I switch back to my account?
To switch back to your own account, go to User Menu click on the avatar and click "Switch to .. [your own accounts name] "
You can also click on the avatar on the bottom left hand side of the screen to switch back.
How do I know who has switched to my account?
There is a record of when colleagues switch to your account. These can be found under Delegation Logs.
If the profile hasn't been accessed by any delegate yet, there will be no record in the Delegation Logs section.
Note: If you have your Slack account connected, please note that your delegate cannot access your Slack or Slack messages whilst switched to your account.
How do I post on behalf of a Colleague / Switch to another account on Mobile?
To post on behalf of someone else, they must set you up as their delegate first. Once you're set up, to access their account on the mobile app, you can:
- Sign in with your Workvivo credentials on Mobile
- Go to User Menu by clicking the Hamburger Menu
- Click "Settings"
- Click "Switch Account"
- Choose the Delegate / Service Account you want to switch to
To switch back to your own account, follow steps 1-4 above and select your own profile.
