This dashboard allows you to reflect on the activity and engagement from a leadership perspective. Since there is a strong correlation between how visible and engaged a leader is and how engaged their team is, this can be a great lever to drive adoption across the organisation. It also drives some healthy competition amongst the leadership team and helps them decide what content types are received best coming from them.
All charts can be filtered by Primary, Secondary and Tertiary teams, as well as to a specific set of people if you so wish. Date ranges filter to usage or content created between those dates, depending on the specific visual.
Note that in order for a user to appear in this dashboard, they must have the “Employee is a leader” checkbox set, which can be done by editing the user in Admin Settings -> People, or for bulk changes contact Workvivo Support.

Top 10 Leaderboards
These visuals are a great way to get some competition happening in leadership! By default they will apply across all leaders in the organization, but can be narrowed to leaders in different teams or users using the quick filters above. It will only show the top 10. Use the All Leaders Activity KPIs table if you want to see all selected leaders information.
Leadership Content Engagement
This table will help you to understand what content is resonating the most across the selected leaders. It shows key engagement metrics like comments and reactions, as well as more passive indicators like views, opens and video plays. Because this factors in the audience to create ratios, it allows you to compare like with like, even if the audience size is different.
It is sorted by Reaction Ratio by default, but can be sorted by any column you wish by clicking on that column.
Leadership KPIs over Time
These graphs are best used by filtering to a small (<5) number of users. They allow you to understand how a leader's core KPIs are trending over time.
Ideally you want to see a consistent amount of activity, especially in the visible interactions like Posts, Comments and Likes. You can use these charts to coach leaders if you find low or decreasing levels of activity, or if you find “bursty” trends. If possible, it is better for leaders to be consistent than having a lot of activity in one period of time and none in the next.
All Leaders Activity KPIs
This table provides all the KPIs above but across all leaders selected. It allows you to compare more than just the top 10, and it allows you to do your own analysis on the various data points by sorting by the columns you wish.
The color coding can be a useful way of quickly seeing patterns emerge in leaders. You might find that certain leaders are big content creators, with high levels of posts, others are more engagers with a higher ranking of comments and reactions, while others are more lurkers with high levels of impressions and feed loads, but little in visible activity. You may decide to use this as a coaching tool.
