The Shoutouts Dashboard is designed to help you understand how Workvivo is being used to drive recognition across your organization, as well as provide key insights to help celebrate and encourage a culture of recognition.
It provides information on overall shoutout use, shoutout trends, who is receiving and giving the most shoutouts and which teams they are on.
There are a number of filters to help narrow down focus. On the dashboard you can quick filter by the primary, secondary and tertiary team of the receiver of recognition. If you want to focus on who is giving shoutouts, these filters are available control section above. They can be combined if so wished.

Shoutouts this Month/Week
These high level KPIs give you a quick view of the use of Shoutouts in the last calendar week and month. They show the count of shoutouts given, and the number of unique receivers of shoutouts. They also provide a quick comparison to the previous calendar month and week. Note that the week shown is the week from that date.
Shoutout Trends
Shows the trends in shoutouts between the two dates selected. The trend can be toggled between the number of shoutouts given, and the number of unique receivers of shoutouts.
Also available on this graph is information on the number of shoutouts received, and the unique users who received shoutouts, between the dates selected, along with the number of users who gave a shoutout in this time period.
Top Shoutout Recipients and Givers Leaderboard
These two visuals help you to really get into the detail and understand who were the people who received the most shoutouts, and who were the people who gave the most shoutouts, in the time period selected.
In addition, these graphs are filterable using the primary, secondary and tertiary team filters. Doing so can help you perform analysis on things like which people in the Sales department received the most shoutouts, or who in the marketing department is giving the most shoutouts.
You could even filter on both to understand which people in just the marketing department are giving the most shoutouts to just the sales team (provided those teams are primary, secondary or tertiary taxonomies).
Note, as it is possible to give a shoutout to a team, and as you may want to exclude such high level and non-user specific shoutouts from your analysis, you have to option to exclude team recipients using the simple toggle.
Top Team Shoutout Recipients and Top Team Shoutout Givers
While the above leaderboard shows you who were the highest receivers or givers of shoutouts, these six visuals allow you to understand which primary, secondary and tertiary teams these users are on.
Use these graphs to understand things like what teams get the most shoutouts, and from which other team. Or is there a pattern in certain teams who seem to give the most shoutouts?
Use the primary, secondary, tertiary team filters to narrow down your analysis, or to exclude some high level teams to better refine your understanding.
All Shoutout Details
There are two views of this table, which list all the shoutouts given and their details, and can be exported for further analysis if so wished.
Choose the simple view to list out all shoutouts given in the time period selected. If there are multiple recipients they will appear as separate rows. The table can be filtered by primary, secondary and tertiary teams of the giver and receiver.
Choose the detailed view if you want to do more detailed analysis, such as find all shoutouts given to users in a team that is not a primary, secondary, or tertiary team, or find all shoutouts by receiver's name, or filtered by the receiver's manager. This can be very useful if managers want a report of who is getting the most shoutouts on their team.
Note that the top level primary, secondary, tertiary team filters apply to the simple table only, as the detailed table has its own team filters.
