Let's understand the differences between Space Documents and System-level Documents.
There are 2 areas where you can store files on Workvivo:
- Resources > Documents - can be links to files / websites, file attachments, or folders
- Spaces > Documents - can be links to files / websites, file for viewing/download, space documents with our without attachments, or folders
Spaces > Documents > Space Documents
- Always generate a post when created
- Reside in the Documents tab in a Space
- Space members can see the documents / all users can see the documents if the space is public
- Appear in the order newest to oldest
Spaces > Documents > Space Files
- Do not generate a post when created
- Reside in the Documents tab in a Space
- Space members can see the files / all users can see the files if the space is public
- Appear in the order newest to oldest

- Do not generate a post when created
- Reside in the Documents section
- Audience members can see the documents (Everyone or Team(s))
- Can be sorted / reordered
- Folder structure can be created
