The content analytics dashboard is the best way to understand the performance of all content types across the platform. This dashboard allows you to drill down to compare the reach, impressions and engagement of different content, and identify the audience, authors, and teams that drive the highest results. You can download these reports by clicking the three dots on the top right hand corner above each table.

Total Posts
The total number of posts shared on the platform within a specific time period is shown on the scorecard. Results can be filtered by primary, secondary, or tertiary teams to identify the number of posts created by a specific area of the business. A post can include any content shared on the activity feed, such as events, updates, kudos, and articles.
Average/Total Reshares, Comments and Reactions per post type
This chart allows you to understand which types of posts receive the highest engagement. You can apply filters and view the averages calculated within the selected time period and filters.
This graph can also be toggled to show totals. While averages help you to understand which post types have the highest engagement, totals allow you to understand which are driving the highest volume of those interactions.
Reshares and Comments
The total number of reshares and comments within the defined parameters and filters are outlined here.
Total Reactions
With emoji reactions it is possible to have a user react multiple times to the same post.
Total Reactions is the sum of the number of reactions within the filtered criteria. If emoji reactions are in use, this will count all the different reactions used.
Unique Reactions
The total number of unique reactions within the filtered criteria.
This metric sums up all the unique users who have reacted across all the posts. This will count the same users if they have reacted to multiple posts, but not count their multiple reactions to the same post. This metric can be used to compare against the legacy "like" metric as it is the equivalent.
Impressions
The total number of times the content was seen by users in the feed.
Note: All reshares/comments/reactions/impressions in this dashboard are based on the timeframe within which the content was posted, not when the interaction was.
Average Engagement over time
This chart allows you to observe trends and interactions per post over time. You can increase or decrease the content aggregation level by using the arrow buttons. This will allow you to view the chart data by minute, hour, day, week (default), month, quarter, or year.
Content analytics rollup table
This table allows you to easily see what the most liked, commented, reshared, opened, or played content within the defined parameters. You can sort by any column header to see an ascending or descending view. The 'Posted On' timezone column will always be UTC.
You can change between a simple view of the table, or a detailed view which includes additional fields.
Note: This table only shows posts that appear on the activity feed and does not include podcasts, pages, gallery, main documents, or space documents.
Shoutouts Report
This table allows you to get a report of all the people who received shoutouts. It is filterable between two dates, and by the giver of the shoutout. It can also be filtered by the primary, secondary or tertiary team of the giver which can be useful to see all shoutouts given by a certain team between two dates.
Filtering
All charts on this dashboard can be filtered by date range, post type, audience, and author as well as the author's primary, secondary and tertiary team within Workvivo.
The default time period for these filters is six months prior to the current date.
Note: The data presented shows interactions on content created between the applied date filters. This does not necessarily mean the interactions are between those dates. Interactions could be after the end date and will still be included.
