Enhancements
Chat - Quoted Replies: Now, employees can reply directly to specific messages, keeping context visible and discussions organised - even in the busiest group chats.
No more scrolling back or guessing what someone meant. Just focused, meaningful conversations that flow naturally and help teams get work done faster. With @all in Workvivo Chat, you can notify every member of a channel at once - perfect for sharing important updates, team announcements, or urgent messages that canât be missed. Journeys - Offboarding Trigger: This new trigger lets you create and launch Offboarding Journeys for employees who are leaving the company. To use this trigger, you'd need to start including Offboarding Dates for departing employees in your provisioning file. Once this date is provided, we can recognize when someone is scheduled to leave and trigger the journey for them. Journey Admins/Managers can also choose number of days before employee's last date that the journey should start. To learn more and enable this trigger please reach out to your Workvivo contact.
Journeys - Â Sync Audience: For journeys with a Default Trigger (e.g., mandatory training), new audience who join after the journey is activated were not automatically enrolled, even though they matched the journeyâs audience. To resolve this issue, we've added an option allowing you to sync Journeys audience and pull all newly eligible users into an already active journeyâwithout rebuilding or republishing the journey.

- Pinned and Starred Spaces in the Side Menu: We have introduced updates for the Spaces section of the Side Menu, featuring global Pinned Spaces (admin-controlled) and personal Starred Spaces (user-controlled) to bring more order and structure to space navigation. These controls enable users to quickly access their most important and frequently used spaces. For more information, see Side Navigation Bar.
- Granular Auto-Enrolment Rules: Auto-enrolment just got a major upgrade with the introduction of 'AND' logic, giving admins the power to achieve precise, granular audience targeting on a self-serve basis. You can now easily combine criteria (e.g., Location AND Department) to accurately target specific user groups. For more information, see Enrolling People and Teams to Spaces.
- Chat - Presence Indicator: The Presence Indicator allows users to see whether a colleague is online, offline, or recently active directly within Chat. This small but powerful visual cue transforms the way employees communicate by helping them better understand when teammates are likely available to respond. More information on Chat here

Surveys & Forms: Weâre excited to introduce Surveys & Forms, a major upgrade of our Surveys product that expands its capabilities to cover a much wider range of employee use cases, from capturing engagement and feedback to collecting operational inputs and requests. With this release, creators can now build both surveys and forms from the same intuitive interface, making it easier to gather insights, streamline processes, and act on employee input, all within Workvivo.
Â- Unified Builder: Create both surveys and forms in one simple, flexible interface. Leverage AI for quick, intuitive creation; or choose the questions, settings, and configurations that best suit your use case, whether it is a survey or a form.
- New Question Types: Collect more detailed and structured data with new input types including date/time pickers, file uploads, dropdowns, contact fields, number fields, and email fields, all complementing existing Survey capabilities.
- Flexible Notification Settings: Control precisely how forms and surveys reach their audience through targeted notifications, prominent Billboard placement, or a combination of both approaches.
- Configurable Submission Settings: Set forms and surveys to accept single responses for formal processes or multiple submissions for continuous feedback, recurring requests, or ongoing operational needs. Configure if submissions are sent progressively or upon final submission.
- Improved Sharing and Distribution: Share and pin forms and surveys more effectively with rich previews, providing additional distribution channels beyond traditional notifications and Billboard placement.

- Livestreams - New Live Experience: Weâve refreshed the livestream viewing experience on Workvivo for third-party streams, making them cleaner, more immersive, and more engaging. - Video Subtitle Controls: Weâve introduced a few new fenhancements to have more control over video subtitles. This includes enabling or disabling video subtitles for videos (specially handy when a video has a built in caption), downloading auto-generated subtitle files, uploading your own SRT file and the ability to edit, and remove custom subtitles.For more information, see Video Subtitle Control.
- Chat - Improved UX and Context on Threaded Replies: The channel list now gives you clearer insights into standard messages verses those that are replies, so itâs easier to see where conversations are happening. Weâve updated the button text from âSendâ to âReplyâ â making it super clear when youâre joining a thread. and When you open a threaded reply on mobile (especially from a push notification), youâll now see the parent message right there â so youâve got the full story at a glance. It also has a header of "Replies" and a count of replies on the page. These changes will make it easier to stay in the loop, keep context, and have smoother, more natural conversations across your team, especially in threads. More on Chat here.

Reordering Sub Spaces: Weâve introduced the ability for Space Owners, Admins, and Managers to reorder Sub Spaces, addressing a navigation and management gap. Sub Spaces can now be easily reorganised from the left-hand menu or the Sub Spaces page hierarchy view, through a consistent, streamlined flow. - Comments Enhancements & Emoji Reactions on Comments: Introducing emoji reactions on comments! Express yourself beyond the heart-only reaction with a wide range of emojis. This release also includes enhanced commenting features including formatting options (bold, italic), emoji shortcodes, mentions, hashtags, and partial mentioning capabilities. - Reordering Links and Quick Links: Weâve added the ability to easily reorder links and folders in the Links and Quick Links and widgets. Links and folders can now be easily rearranged within a streamlined sort modal using drag-and-drop, ensuring important resources are always prioritised and visible. - Workvivo AI Permissions: AI administrators can easily give all users access to the Ask, Compose and Survey generation AI features. Manual Edit of Video Subtitle: Weâve added the ability to manually edit automatically generated subtitles on videos. This gives you more control and ensures better accuracyâespecially for important communications across regions and languages. - Manual Post Translation: Workvivo now supports Manual Post Translations for Updates, Shout-Outs, and Value Updates. While Amazon Translate provides automatic, real-time translations, this new feature allows you to add and edit translations manually for greater accuracy.
